Our crabs are steamed fresh from the live state before shipping. We season our crabs with NEW BAY seasoning. It's a derivative of old bay, very similar in flavor to the regular version but we have it mixed fresh by our own spice company! It has 35% less salt than traditional old bay and has no MSG preservative!
If you've never tried blue crab, you are in for a treat. Blue crabs come from all over the Atlantic to the Gulf of Mexico and many freshwater and saltwater places in-between. Not only are they delicious, but they are fun to eat as well. We like ours in all kinds of ways - steamed with new bay with butter & garlic is one of our favorites and most popular choice. We offer our heavy weight crabs in 4 sizes, small (5"-5.25" point to point), medium mix (5.25"-6" point to point), large (6"-6.5" point to point) or jumbo (6.5"-7" and up point to point). Order a few dozen, invite a few friends, and chow down! Orders placed for live, raw, or cooked crabs at any size level may consist of a mixture of male and female crabs. Large are typically just male.
